Kerb Appeal – Have any necessary repairs done by the time your property is on the market as first impression’s count. So check if there are any missing tiles, re-pointing, and chipped paint work or any holes in the walls etc.
Make your house sparkle – this can be achieved by; Washing windows inside and out, Vacuum daily, Dust furniture, polish mirrors, hang up fresh towels
Bright and Light - Keep decoration simple, using light, neutral colours to make your home appear more spacious than it is. By doing this you can give the buyer a blank canvas to work from.
Outside garden or yard - Make sure all gardens are maintained regular, and weed free. A few pots and plants can work wonders and create a calm atmosphere, where the prospective buyer can imagine relaxing after a hard days work or there children playing around.
Away with the clutter finally – Your aim should to make as much space as possible, so the buyer can picture where there things could go. This could be a good time for you to do some good deeds by taking any extra unwanted items to your local charity shops etc or items that you still need but are taken too much space can be taken to local storage units.
